Sperm DonationSperm donation involves using semen from an appropriately screened man (donor). The semen is used to fertilise eggs during assisted reproductive treatment. If a pregnancy is achieved the child will be genetically related to the female but not to the male partner. The Sperm Donor program is managed by the Donor Team at Repromed. The Donor Co-ordinators, Manager of the program, Repromed doctors and counsellors and nurses are all part of the team and will be guiding you through the pathway. There are a series of medical and counselling appointments and medical tests that are mandatory for both donors and recipients and a timeline of 6 months should be anticipated prior to starting any IVF treatments. If you would consider being a donor, please refer to the eligibility questionnaire for further information. |
